What is being built
The 46 km Indore–Ujjain Road is being widened from four to six lanes by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC). The project was reported at Rs 1,692 crore, of which Rs 623 crore is for the widening and construction work, with completion targeted for December 2026. Places named along the route include Ninora, Aurobindo Hospital and Harifatak.

Why now: Simhastha 2028
The widening is timed for Simhastha 2028, the Kumbh of Ujjain held once in twelve years, when crores of pilgrims are expected to travel between the two cities. A wider road is meant to carry that traffic and the daily commuter traffic that already uses it.
What it means if you are buying a plot
A finished six-lane road should make the drive between Indore and Ujjain faster and more predictable. During construction, expect diversions and slower journeys on some stretches.
It does not make every plot on the road a good buy. Check how a project actually connects to the highway (a service road, a safe entry and exit, the width of the approach road), and treat the road as context for your decision, not a promise of price growth.
Where Valencia Town sits
Valencia Town is a 48-acre township of residential plots at Shahna, on this road. Sri Aurobindo Hospital is about 10 minutes away, Vijay Nagar and Indore Airport about 25 minutes, and Ujjain about 40 minutes.
